A great preventative measure to stop red mite building up in your poultry house, regular use will stop the mites and therefore no need for nasty chemicals!

 

RED ExterMITE, is applied where red mite live and move and will be picked up on the exoskeleton by static electricity and the Red Mite once exposed it will be unable to maintain moisture so dies.

 

(Please remember red mite lives in the house not on the bird, if your house is infested use red mite powder on the poultry house but if the bird seems infested then please use Chicken Lice powder).

 

The question you must ask is do I have an infestation? Or do I wish to prevent?

 

If you have an infestation currently then it must be dealt with quickly and I am afraid this is not the correct product for a current infestation and you will need Red Mite Killer Spray, I hate to say it but you will need a chemical treatment before moving on to the natural treatment.  

 

If you have used this to help clear an infestation then I also recommend adding Chicken Vitamins to your birds diets for at least 7-14 days, which should keep the poultry bright and lower a chance of secondary infection.

 

If you do not have an infestation and wish to use this as a prevention or to erradicate a few mite then gently sprinkle a light dusting of this powder around the perches and the corner edges of the house and do this on every clean and you should help keep the nightmare mites away.
