Now desiging our own kits here at P&T we offer quality long lasting kits rather than the false economy kits you can get elsewhere. We DO NOT offer 6v or 9v kits as we know from experience they are NOT UP TO THE JOB! We only offer 12v or mains as we know these will keep the foxes out and long term saves you money!
Electric Poultry netting is ideal for containing all types of poultry (including ducks, geese, turkeys etc.) and keeping Predators out (i.e. foxes, dogs, cats, badgers and mink). It is easy to move around so birds can be given new pasture, which minimises the problems of worming and gives pastures time to recover.
Please not our poultry netting is the small mesh version which is 5cm mesh at the bottom, I have seen others offering 12cm mesh at the bottom, meaning our nets carry more than twice the strands and can keep bantams in whereas some others let fully grown large fowl walk straight through!!!

You will need a
leisure battery for this kit but we recommend halfords as they are much cheaper than the special ones we have to send in the post.
Electric netting sounds scary but it really is not, please do not be afraid of it as it really is of huge benifit of all those that have purchased it. It (when connected to an energiser) pulses an electric current through the strands of the net, if touched it will of course give a jolt but it will be unlikley you will do it again, dogs and cats also learn very quickly and rarely do they touch it a second time. All kits are easily switched off near the nets so acess is easy and totally pain free, just do not forget to turn it back on again once you have returned outside. You will find them easy to move to new ground if you wish, very flexiable in shapes and sizes and now with the green colour almost invisable from 20 feet away. Give your chickens more freedom but also keep them safe and of course keep them off of your private peice of garden too.
This chicken netting can be painful if you use the hand or arm to test so we recommend getting a tester with the kit, I now always use my wireless one, so when I get near a live fence it beeps at me to let me know I am close.

chicken equipment starter packs that you may find useful with this electric netting.
If your ground is uneven where you are using your poultry netting then i would suggest
extra posts to stop the netting from sagging and earthing out on the ground.
