A great preventative measure to stop red mite building up in your poultry house.  Regular use will stop the mites and therefore no need for nasty chemicals!

 

RED Mite Powder, is applied where red mite live and move, and will be picked up on the exoskeleton by static electricity, and the Red Mite once exposed, will be unable to maintain moisture so dies. It can also be used on the bird from the nape of the neck to the tail with a light dusting.

 

Regular use will kill red mite in your chicken house

 

The question you must ask is do I have an infestation? Or do I wish to prevent?

 

If you have an infestation currently, then it must be dealt with quickly, and I am afraid this is not the correct product for a current infestation and as such you will need Red Mite Killer Spray.  I hate to say it, but you will need a chemical treatment before moving on to the natural treatment.  

 

If you have used this to help clear an infestation then I also recommend adding Chicken Vitamins to your birds diet for at least 7-14 days, which should keep the poultry bright and lower the chance of secondary infection.

 

If you do not have an infestation and wish to use this as prevention or to erradicate a few mite, then gently sprinkle a light dusting of this powder around the perches and the corner edges of the house.  If you do this on every clean, you should help keep the nightmare mites away.

 

We use this product in the regular cleaning routine of all of our Chicken Houses along with Poultry Ark Maid .
