Truly wonderful chicken bedding, probably the best on the market, nicely chipped with fresh pine smell.  We have to say that this really is, in our opinion, the best chicken bedding on the market today.   We would no longer use anything else.

Cut into nice 10mm chip sizes, ensuring it does not easily 'cap' meaning it lasts much longer and greatly reduces the occurrence of moulds, spores and mites - meaning a healthier, happier flock.

I have also found chickens really enjoy 'turning' it over therefore making cleaning easier and not so frequent thus saving you money, and meaning reduced incidence of hock burn.

With P&T Chicken bedding your birds will be warm, dry and more active.

We would estimate 1 bale of this bedding should last our Dorking chicken house 6-8 weeks in the summer or 3-4 weeks in the winter months.

Suitable for all Poultry and Waterfowl, even small animals and yes, it is ideal for nest boxes as well.

When used, the litter makes excellent fertilizer / composting material.

If I may add one tip: please, please do NOT use straw or hay in your house as you will be putting mites / lice in the house and then be spending £20 or more a month on products to kill them.

Here at P&T Poultry we use the ark maid on the base of the chicken house then the bedding, so when it comes to cleaning we go to the house, remove both sides and sweep old bedding through into a wheelbarrow. Our poultry houses are clean, no ammonia and cleaned in minutes with no mites being added.
